ŞİRAZİ ASSOCIATION REGULATION
Name and Headquarters of the Association
Article 1 - Name of the Association: The name of the association is "Şirazi Association." The headquarters of the association is in ŞANLIURFA. The association can establish branches and representations domestically and abroad.
Purpose of the Association and Areas of Activities and Forms to Achieve this Purpose by the Association and its Operational Scope
Article 2 - The Association was established with the aim of carrying out all kinds of humanitarian aid and association work needed domestically and abroad. Şirazi: (This is attributed to the village where Hacı Muhammed Şükrü Şirazi, one of the great scholars of Urfa who was instrumental in establishing this association, was born.)
Areas and Forms of Activities to be Carried Out by the Association
1- Conducting research to activate and enhance its activities,
2- Organizing educational activities such as courses, seminars, conferences, and panels,
3- Procuring all kinds of information, documents, publications necessary to achieve the goal, establishing a documentation center, and publishing newspapers, magazines, books, and bulletins in line with its objectives to announce its activities,
4- Providing a conducive work environment to achieve the objectives, procuring all kinds of technical tools, equipment, and stationery,
5- Engaging in fundraising activities and accepting donations from within the country and abroad, subject to obtaining necessary permissions,
6- Establishing and operating economic, commercial, and industrial enterprises to generate necessary income to achieve the objectives of the bylaws,
7- Establishing local facilities for the benefit of its members and to utilize their leisure time, establishing social and cultural facilities and furnishing them,
8- Organizing events such as dinners, exhibitions, sports activities, trips, and entertainment to enhance and sustain interpersonal relationships among members or facilitating their participation in such events,
9- Buying, selling, leasing, and establishing property rights on movable and immovable properties necessary for the activities of the association,
10- Establishing foundations, federations domestically and abroad or becoming a member of an existing federation, establishing facilities that associations can create with necessary permissions,
11- Engaging in international activities, becoming a member of associations or organizations abroad, and collaborating or supporting these organizations,
12- Collaborating on joint projects with public institutions and organizations within the jurisdiction areas, subject to the provisions of the Law No. 5072 on the Relations of Associations and Foundations with Public Institutions and Organizations,
13- Establishing a fund to meet the essential needs such as food, clothing of the association members, and addressing short-term credit needs for other goods and services,
14- Opening branches and representations in places deemed necessary,
15- Creating platforms with other associations, foundations, unions, and similar civil society organizations in areas related to the association's objectives and not prohibited by laws to achieve a common goal,
16- Engaging in any activities not prohibited by laws and necessary for achieving the objectives.
Scope of Activities of the Association
The association operates domestically and abroad in humanitarian aid, education, culture, art, health, psychosocial support, guidance, sports, technology, combating substance addiction, women and family, youth and children, social assistance, scientific research and development, innovation, environmental and animal protection, afforestation, legal support, communication, press, media, artificial intelligence and technology studies, conducting all kinds of educational activities related to national and moral values, issuing certificates, supporting scientific and academic activities, and working for the upbringing of young people in line with national and moral values.
Membership Rights and Membership Procedures
Article 3 - Any natural or legal person who has legal capacity, adopts the purposes and principles of the association, and fulfills the conditions stipulated by the legislation has the right to become a member of this association. However, for foreign natural persons to become members, they must also have the right of residence in Turkey. This condition is not required for honorary membership. The application for membership made in writing to the presidency of the association is decided upon by the board of directors within a maximum of thirty days for acceptance or rejection of the request, and the outcome is communicated to the applicant in writing. The member whose application is accepted is recorded in a register kept for this purpose. The main members of the association are the founders of the association and individuals accepted into membership by the board of directors upon their application. Those who have significantly supported the association financially or morally may be accepted as honorary members by the decision of the board of directors. When the number of branches of the association exceeds three, the membership records of those registered at the headquarters of the association are transferred to the branches. New membership applications are made to the branches. Acceptance into membership and deletion from membership are carried out by branch boards of directors and communicated to the Headquarters in writing within a maximum of thirty days.
